“Di and John,
I don’t think you ever truly see the impact of what you do on the community that you’ve created. For me, BAYO represented a safe place where people from all walks of life could come together and produce something really special, whilst allowing us to learn so many skills. You would never leave BAYO or BAYWO without having laughed, smiled or having felt that you’re truly apart of something, and for that I am so grateful!
Di, I will never forget your laugh and the passion you and John brought every single week. I’m so sorry I can’t be there to celebrate you and and the fond memories I have of BAYO.
Lots of love and thanks, Jason (clarinet) x”
It would be amazing if this could make it in the booklet - I think it’s a fantastic idea.
Thanks to all the friends of BAYOC too, the success of the orchestra couldn’t have been without you all!
Thanks and best wishes,
Jason Cottle (ex BAYO and BAYWO)
I'm Shaun and I have played Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophone in BAYWO. I was a member of BAYWO from around 2011/12 until 2016 (although it's still a part of me today, I must be honest). I was also a member of TAYWB, BAYO and BAYPE :) John and Di really helped me grow my passion, enthusiasm and talent for music, and especially with the Saxophone.

I played flute in BAYO (2014-16) and BAWYO (2013-16). I'm now a second year music student and I play piccolo and flute in the university wind, chamber and symphony orchestras. Di and John were the ones who started it all for me
