The 2016 Crafts and Music Event will be held at Queen Mary's College, Basingstoke on Sunday 10th July 2016 between 11am and 5 pm.
Footfall is guaranteed as hundreds of children perform during the event and their families come to support them. We have each ensemble perform twice during the event to ensure that there is time to visit the stalls between perfomances.
Craft Fayre Stall Holder Information
We provide a table length of 6 foot to display your crafts. You may extend your table with your own tables at no extra charge. Free tea, coffee or Squash is available to crafters during the event.
Hot and could food can be purchased from our cafe and BBQ, and even delivered to your stall on request. You may choose on the day whether to be indoors or outdoors. If outdoors you are recommended to bring and erect a tent or gazebo.
Indoor stalls will be spaced around the venue with perfomance area in the hall, music from this area will be amplified to the outdoor area. Visitors are routed in and out of the hall passing the indoor and outdoor stalls to ensure all stalls have the opportunituy to be visited by our customers.
Having been running the annual event for 12 years we carried out surveys of customers, ensemble parents and stall holders 2 years ago. Satisfaction was high and the overwhelming majority of respondents wanted the event to remain in a similar format.
We also surveyed the first 200 car drivers attending the event as they entered the car park, and found that 168 were associated to our Orchestras and Choirs, others found out about the event from a number of other routes. Armed with this knowledge we intend to priortise the most effective promotions and to increase the family fun part of the event, to promote more to the extended families as well as parents.
